The United States of America and Christianity
I do not have the time to get into this too much today, but there is a correlation, and it goes deeper than just the separation of Church and State.
There are those in this world that seek power and authority. True power and authority comes from God. Some see God and the belief in God as a threat. This is demonstrated throughout the Bible.
Those who see God as a threat want to eliminate Him and take Him out of the equation. These people are known as Stateists, Marxists, Socialists, Progressives, and Liberals. They must remove God in order to gain ultimate power and authority.
One of the oldest documents in the History of the United States is the Mayflower Compact. This document was a contract that was agreed upon for governance of the Massachusetts colony.
This country was founded in honor of God and King, in that order. We kicked the King out long ago, but we must remain loyal to God for the sovereignty of our nation. Those that are trying to kick God out want to destroy our nation. If you do not believe in God, you have that right, you do not have the right to take God from me, or blaspheme His Holy name in my presence without expectation of a rebuttal.
