Prayer

There are two very important prayers that we as Christians should focus on.

The first one being the prayer of salvation. in order to receive salvation and the blessings of God, we must first ask.

Luke 11:09 Jesus said "And I say unto you, ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you".

There is one thing that I would like to make perfectly clear. No Pastor, Minister, Bishop, Pope, or clergy of any kind can get you into heaven. This is something between you and Jesus alone. You do not need to be in church or chapel at the time of accepting Jesus. It is a simple prayer that goes something like this;
Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and Savior, please forgive me for my sin. I recognize the price you paid for me on the cross and invite you into my life. Amen

Believe it in your heart and that is all there is to it. The Holy Spirit will guide you as you learn the teachings of Christ and begin to walk in His path.

The second prayer I am talking about is the prayer that Jesus gave the disciples when they asked Him how they should pray. It is in Matthew, chapter 6 verses 6-13. I encourage you to look it up because it not says what to pray, but how to pray.
